Yup. That’s me … I am the cliche Canadian-Italian guy who grew up in a family surrounded by cooking. From a very young age, I was exposed to the joys of creating brilliant meals: hearty tomato sauces, homemade pasta, succulent meats, mouth watering pastries. My family didn’t just make food – they made art. But yet, they were still the traditional “you-need-to-stay-in-school-and-get-a-proper-education” type of family. And so, I did. I studied Economics for 6 straight years until one day, I hit a wall. I realized that as great as I was with numbers – economics wasn’t for me. In my mind and in my heart, the thing that got me going was the rush, the drive and most importantly the love I experienced in the kitchen.
And so finally, I did it. I applied to culinary school. Now; currently a graduate from St Pius X Culinary Institute, I have learned and continue to practice one of the most demanding trades out there. Starting from the kitchen basics to the endless possibilities in creating that signature dish, I intend to share my love of cooking, in hopes of inspiring others to pursue their dreams. Hope you enjoy food as much as I do, you’re in for a hell of a meal. Bon Appetit!
